Every couple of months, most of the major hotel chains offer different promotions to encourage users to stay in their hotels.  Sometimes the promotion is the same for everyone (Stay 2 nights, get 5000 points), and sometimes the promotions are targeted, and different people get different requirements or bonuses.

Because I don’t do a lot of business travel (on other people’s dime) and I try to use points for my own stays, I typically focus on promotions that only require a minimum (1-3) amount of stays.  Generally I recommend signing up for all of these promotions when they come out because even if you don’t think you’ll use them, you never know, and it only takes 10 seconds usually.

Here is the current promotion for Hyatt, called Stay More Play More.  You can register at Hyatt’s site.  It’s good for stays through June 30th.

If I had a lot of upcoming stays, this would definitely pique my interest, especially as a relatively cheap way to get / qualify for Hyatt Diamond status.  Since I don’t, and you don’t get anything until you’ve made at least 5 nights, I probably will not focus very much on this stay.  Still, I did register for the promotion just in case!
