Icelandair is running a “Winter is Coming!” sale with fares listed as low as $149 one-way direct to destinations throughout Europe. All flights connect through Reykjavik, Iceland, and allow up to a three-day stopover at no additional cost; remember, airport taxes and fees may apply with a stopover. Also keep in mind that return flights from Europe will be more expensive as departure taxes are generally higher.  As we mentioned during the Icelandair “4th of July Sale”, the airline has a questionable reputation as a family friendly airline and for arriving on time.  We have also seen some other really good deals to Europe recently as well.  The sale prices are available through August 19 and are good for select days through March 2020; see “Travel Dates” below for more specifics.
