Check your email for the subject line:  “Heads up on our Lyft partnership.”  It’s from JetBlue.  Sadly, the airline no longer be partnering with Lyft to get you bonus points.

The partnership will end on September 9th, 2019.  Until then, you’ll still have the ability to 30 TrueBlue points on every Lyft ride to or from the airport.  I actually just took advantage of this the other day!

A quick ride home from Boston Logan and I was 30 TrueBlue points richer!

JetBlue does close their email with,

We realize that being able to earn TrueBlue points on airport rides (and linking your TrueBlue and Lyft accounts) has been a convenient perk. Stay tuned as we look to roll out new ones in the future.

So hopefully, we do see more perks and partnerships for JetBlue.  Of course, they all but axed their Amazon partnership last year too, so it looks like they’re moving in the opposite direction to me.

Don’t forget you can still earn Delta miles with Lyft rides.  Link your accounts here, and you’ll be on your way to getting 1 SkyMile per dollar on all rides in the US, and 2 SkyMiles per dollar spent on rides to/from airports anywhere Lyft operates

Check it out – I earned TureBlue points AND SkyMiles on the same trip!

Personally, I use public transit whenever and wherever I can, especially to and from the airport.  Not all cities have an easy way to get to the airport though, and  I find myself checking Uber or Lyft when I need a quick ride home.  I always go with the cheaper option, but the bonus points were definitely nice!
