What can you do if you can’t travel for the excellent Oktoberfest deals American Airlines is currently offering? Well, how about Switzerland for even less? AA and Oneworld have excellent prices to Zurich for October of this year from the same airports as the Germany deal. That means dozens of regional airports are involved, with prices matching or lower than major hubs like Chicago O’Hare and L.A.X. I checked the same list as the other sale (St. Louis, Kansas City, Lexington (KY), Seattle, San Diego, Raleigh Durham, and Omaha) plus a few others (LAX, ORD) and got prices ranging from $357 to $462. That means most US airports are probably getting the same prices.
Like the Oktoberfest sale, these are basic economy with main cabin costing another $160 round trip. So seat choice and checked bag to Europe from your local airport is maybe $520…a steal! As with the Germany sale, these prices may disappear at any time, so hurry if you’re interested.
