To start out 2017, Club Carlson has launched a new promotion where you can earn up to 100,000 bonus points. Unfortunately, it isn’t a tiered promotion like the recent couple Hyatt has run, where you earn more and more points as you hit certain milestone numbers of paid nights.

Instead, you have to register for the number of nights you plan/hope to stay up front, and you can then you are only eligible for the bonus points of the offer you choose. Here are the 5 offer levels:

  • Stay 1 night, earn 5,000 bonus Gold points
  • Stay 2 nights, earn 10,000 bonus Gold points
  • Stay 4 nights, earn 20,000 bonus Gold points
  • Stay 8 nights, earn 50,000 bonus Gold points
  • Stay 20+ nights, earn 100,000 bonus Gold points

The 8 night offer is the most lucrative (6,250 bonus points per night) if you can hit exactly 8 nights. The rest offer a return of 5,000 points per night.

Register for the promotion here. You simply need to provide either the email for your Club Carlson account or your Club Carlson Gold number, your choice on which promotion you want to register for, and the country you live in. The promotion window is for stays between January 9th and March 31st, 2017.

Personally, I settled for the 2 night option. If work takes me somewhere where there is a Club Carlson hotel at a reasonable rate, I may jump at the opportunity to earn a few bonus points. Otherwise, I really don’t expect to get any mileage out of this promotion.

Overall, this isn’t a fantastic promotion, considering the fairly low value of Club Carlson Gold points. But if you are already planning a stay with Club Carlson, this could earn you some easy extra points.
