Last week I wrote about a sale on awards that IHG is doing on some of its all inclusive resorts and other properties.  The nice part about this sale is that it’s a sale on AWARD stays.  I thought I’d write a reminder as you need to book by May 2nd (Monday) and stay by June 12th.

Using points at an all-inclusive resort can be a pretty good way to maximize your points.  If you look at something like the Holiday Inn Resort® Montego Bay, a 1 night stay for 4 people costs $202, or 17,500 points

That’s 1.15 cents per point, which is a pretty good redemption for an IHG point.  If you look back at the Daily Getaways from two weeks ago, you could buy 75,000 points (enough for 4 nights) for $443, compared to paying $808!  You can actually get it a bit cheaper as you can manufacture IHG points as low as 0.6 cents per point, which would count those 75,000 points for as low as $420.

Good luck out there and happy booking!
