Recently I had a work conference in Columbus that required an overnight stay. I’ve been to this conference a few times, having stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott Columbus Easton, Drury Inn And Suites Columbus Convention Center and the TownePlace Suites Columbus Airport Gahanna in previous years. This time, I decided to branch out, so I settled on the SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton. This SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton review will give an idea of the different amenities and features and hopefully help you decide if you want to stay here if you’re in the area.
SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton Hotel location
The SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton is located at 4048 Morse Rd, Columbus, OH 43219, and shares a parking lot and building with the TownePlace Suites Columbus Easton. It is located in the Easton Towne Centre area of Columbus, a little north and east of Downtown. It is super convenient to get from I-71 or I-270, and walkable to the actual Easton Towne Center area (depending on what part of Easton you’re going to, you might consider taking a car even for a short distance)
SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton cost
Cash prices at the SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton range anywhere from $100 to $200 or more, depending on what is going on. On similar dates to when I was booking, the refundable cash price was around $129, and $140.01 after tax. The points cost was around 20,000 points, which is a value of about 0.7 cents per point. Since this was a work stay that I was getting reimbursed for, I of course booked the cash rate.

SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton review – room
I reserved a 2 queens suite with trundle bed, which was exactly what I got. I will minorly quibble that it is not really a “suite” since there is no separate room with a door, but it did have a couch with 2 desk areas right when you walk in.
Then there was an area with the 2 queen beds
The bathroom was large and off to the right. It had a large sink area, which was a good thing since my teenage daughter brought enough bottles of lotions and stuff to completely fill one half of the sink area!
Then a toilet to the right of the sink
And a shower to the left
SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton wifi and amenities
Wifi is complimentary in the lobby and in the guest rooms for Marriott members. The SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton wifi was decent but not spectacular – unfortunately I did not grab a screenshot of the speed. There is a fitness center on the ground floor which was surprisingly large for a “basic” hotel brand.
They also had a Peloton bike in the lobby that was I think part of a particular hotel package that you could book?
They had a decent-sized indoor pool as well, though I didn’t get a picture of it because there were people swimming in it each time I went by. There is also a small business center on the main floor near the lobby.
SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton hotel review – parking
SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton parking is complimentary and they have a large parking lot that they share with the adjacent TownePlace Suites.
SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton food
The SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton breakfast is complimentary and included as part of the rate. Breakfast hours are from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. every day.
They had individually packaged waffles which was unusual (But tasty according to my daughter). They also had breakfast sandwiches as well as cheese omelets, which were quite good.
The breakfast area was quite large with plenty of room to spread out.
The SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton also has a “Market” near the front desk with a variety of things you can purchase for outrageous prices.
Here’s the price list.
There is also a bar area off of the lobby that is available for food and drink purchases in the evenings.
The Bottom Line – SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton hotel review
Overall this was a good stay if you need to stay in the Easton area of Columbus or are looking for a Columbus Ohio hotel. I would mostly recommend it on points but if you can pick it up on a cheap cash rate it’s super convenient to most things in the area. If you’re looking for a travel card that you can use to pay for your SpringHill Suites Columbus Easton stay in either cash or using Marriott Bonvoy points, I recommend the following:
