2 great deals are currently available for travel from the US to Central and South America

These fares are NOT mistake fares, but they’re pretty good deals, so they’re likely to go fast.
Flying American to Costa Rica
The first deal comes via The Flight Deal and Pizza in Motion. You can fly from Miami to San Jose, Costa Rica for as low as $313. According to The Flight Deal, this fare must be booked TODAY (Feb 10th), and is good for travel until May. You can also fly from Chicago or Dallas for a little more (I found several days at $349 and $356). Here’s one example from April
You can also fly one way from Chicago or Dallas to Miami for only $54
Flying Copa Airlines to Chile
Via FareDealAlert, The other deal is flying on Copa Airlines from Orlando to Santiago Chile. I was not able to find the deal from any other cities, so you would have to position to Orlando. This deal is for travel through June, but the fare also must be booked TODAY (Feb 10th)
You connect in Copa’s hub of Panama City, and I did see some fare dates / times that allowed a ~20hr layover in Panama City

If you were looking to head somewhere warm this winter / spring, these are pretty good deals to jump on!
