Saturdays are my days to go through my stack of mail that I mostly ignore during the week.  Most of it is junk mail of course, and I get a lot of various solicitations and credit card stuff (I’m sure you’re in the same situation).  I always tell people that instead of just signing up for credit card offers that you get in the mail, figure out where you want to go FIRST and only then apply for the cards that can get you there.

Going through the mail today, I saw an interesting offer from Club Carlson offering “Special Thanks to our Loyal Guests”

Cub Carlson special thanks to our loyal guests

The brochure that I got talks a lot about the Country Inn and Suites brands, most of it not particularly interesting.  But on the last page, it says

We would like to offer you a special Thank You gift for being such a great guest.  To claim your gift, visit http://yourgiftfromcountry.com and enter code THANKYOU by November 30, 2016

So, even though it is already December 3rd (after November 30th), I figured I’d give it a try.  I didn’t know what my “special Thank You gift” would be, but after entering in my wife’s email address, Club Carlson number and the promo code THANKYOU, I hit submit

And it gave me 1000 bonus Club Carlson points.  Of course, I tried it with my own email address and I was told that my entry was invalid, so unfortunately it does appear to be targeted.  Still, if you have a Club Carlson account, I’d give it a try, since if you’re like me, it’s likely you threw out this brochure when it came in the mail 🙂

Probably do it soon as I don’t know how much longer it will be available given we’re already past November 30th.
