A few months ago, the 50,000 mile offer for the Chase United MileagePlus Explorer card was all the rage.  I got one of those, but now that offer expired (though probably just temporarily), and the best current public offer is for only 30,000 miles.

While going through my mail the other day, I came across this flyer.

It gives the link of UnitedExplorerCard.com/Miles for a 50,000 mile offer (plus an additional 5,000 miles when adding an authorized user).

Possibly a targeted offer

Clicking on that link takes you to a signin page.

When I sign in with my account, I do get a landing page for a 50K offer

Now, as I mentioned, I already HAVE a Chase United card (so I’m not sure what would happen if I tried to sign up for a 2nd one), but if I sign in with my wife’s United account information, she is redirected to a landing page that only has the standard 30,000 MileagePlus miles offer.

So it looks like it might be targeted and tied to specific United MileagePlus accounts.  Still, if you’re in the market for the Chase United card and want to see if you were targeted for the 50,000 mile offer, try UnitedExplorerCard.com/Miles and find out!
