Alaska Airlines has just announced the “Wander Your Way” sweepstakes, with a grand prize of 100,000 miles and $2,500 (presumably to pay the taxes on those miles). First prize is 20,000 miles, not too shabby.

If you’re a Mileage Plan member, check your inbox for an email titled “Enter to win 100,000 miles.” You’ll be directed to a special sign-in at Alaska Airlines’ Mileage Plan shopping portal but no purchase is necessary. Just log in or sign up and you’ll automatically receive 100 entries.

What can you do with 100,000 miles? Well, you can fly from the US to Asia round trip with Cathay Pacific’s excellent business class for 100K miles + minimal fees.

You can also fly a family of four one-way to Europe with Condor Airlines. Or a family of three one-way to Asia with Hainan Airlines. Even the 20K first prize means you can book a family of four on one-way flights under 700 miles with miles and $23.

Full rules and further entry options are located here. There’s no need to hurry, and you can enter until 11:59 PM ET on September 27th. But you should do it sooner rather than later so that you don’t forget.

Good luck and let us know if you’re one of the winners!
