It’s back. WOW Air has put several routes on sale, with one-way fare starting at either $69.99 to Iceland or $89.99 to other European cities. Availability is limited, so act fast if you want to take advantage of this sale.
WOW Sale starting at $69.99
Travel must be completed by April 24, 2018. The $69.99 fare are for flights to Reykjavik from any of the following US cities: Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Newark, Boston, San Francisco or Chicago . Or you can fly to the following European cities via Reykjavik at reduced fares starting at $89.99.
- London (LGW)
- Amsterdam (AMS)
- Copenhagen (CPH)
- Brussels (BRU)
- Edinburgh (EDI)
- Dublin (DUB)
- Frankfurt (FRA)
I looked up fare from San Francisco to Reykjavik, just a few days left now with outbound flights at $69.99.Â
Return flight will cost a little bit more with lowest fare starting at $179.99 to San Francisco.
WOW Carry-on policy
WOW Air recently changed its carry-on policy. A normal carry-on bag is now $51 and a checked bag is $71. If you need a seat assignment, it will cost you at least $8 to $13 each way. Despite all the fees, the fares may still make a lot of sense.
Keep in mind that the $70 ticket is only available one-way to Europe. Getting back to the U.S. from Europe is typically $200 to $300 one way. Are you taking advantage of these one-way fares?
