EDIT: THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED

I have a goal of having 500 Twitter followers by the end of the month, and 1000 by the end of the year.

I was talking with Randy Petersen, who is the founder of BoardingArea (and FlyerTalk, and MilePoint, and several other travel-related things of awesomeness) about my goal and he decided to help me out, yesterday posting on Twitter

As you can imagine, that did help out quite a bit, with 61 people following me yesterday! If you were one of them, thank you very much! If you haven’t followed me on Twitter (or Facebook!), now’s a great time to start! I realize that “followers” are not the end-all and be-all of a successful blog, but I think that I am very engaging on Twitter and write good stuff! If you haven’t checked out some of my most popular posts, I bet you’ll find one that you’ll enjoy, such as when someone told me I was “the type of person that should not have children“, or how to destroy a metal Chase Sapphire card, or how to always get a live chat agent on AmericanExpress.com. To celebrate my new followers, I am going to be giving away a $15 gift card to Starbucks!  The perfect thing to get you going when you’re out traveling! starbucks-gift-card You can enter in either (or both) of 2 ways: 1) Leave a comment on this post, telling me you’re favorite thing to drink (or eat!) at Starbucks. 2) Follow me on Twitter and then tweet something to me @PointsWithACrew with the hashtag #StarbucksGiveaway. So something like

Feel free to just copy that or change it if you want – you just need to mention me and the hashtag #StarbucksGiveaway

The contest will close Sunday at 11:59pm EDT and 1 winner will be randomly selected and they will win the gift card. You can leave 1 comment and 1 tweet – anything more will not be counted.
