Delta just launched its monthly Skymiles flash sales, this time to Asia. You can read complete details here.
The sale
- Main Cabin starts at 40,000 miles roundtrip (plus taxes and fees);
- Premium Select starts at 70,000 miles roundtrip (plus taxes and fees);
- Sale valid for two days, until 11:59pm EST on July 11, 2018;
- Must book on Delta.com directly;
- Travel from the U.S. between September 10 and December 10, 2018. All travel must be completed by December 25, 2018

Availability is decent
I decided to look up availability for a family of four between Atlanta and Shanghai using Delta’s low fare calendar. Availability is quite good in late October through November. Traveling to China during the first week of October, often known as the Golden week, is excluded in this promotion.
While this monthly Skymiles sale is for Asia, Delta is also running another sale to Mexico, Caribbean and Latin America starting at just 12,000 miles roundtrip.
