Yesterday we shared a brief preview of the list of Point Breaks for May through July 2018.  Of course, as soon as I saw that list and published the post, I saw some additional hotels that were on the list – this time with the list of how many points they require.

Unfortunately this is still only a preview of the full list – the full list will come later.  It’s not yet clear if they will release the full list before Monday (April 30th), when they will be bookable.  You can book these Point Breaks hotels from April 30th through July 31st.  As a side note, I don’t know why it seems like they change the way they announce this every quarter.  Sometimes I get an email with a preview list, sometimes I find it out on the IHG blog, sometimes I have to read about it on other blogs.  It’s maddening…

As always, I will update the current IHG Point Breaks Map and sortable table page when the full list comes out but for now, here’s what we know

Up until now, all IHG Point Breaks hotels were 5000 points per night, but as we discussed earlier, now hotels on the PointBreaks list will range from 5000 to 15000 points.
