Read a great post today about a delayed flight at the Albuquerque Airport. An elderly Palestinian woman had thought her flight was being canceled (instead of just delayed) and was not taking the news well.
Eventually the author of the post was able to help her calm down and spent an enjoyable delay.

What have your experiences been with flight delays? I got $100 vouchers for my Southwest flight being delayed (again), but then I turned down nearly $1000 in vouchers that would have gotten me to my destination 9 hours later.
And of course I think exhausting flight delays contributed to the mood of the passenger who told my wife and I that we were “the type of people that should not have children“… 🙂
