BREAKING NEWS: It appears that this morning United Airlines is experiencing a system-wide stoppage as all flights are currently grounded. You may remember a few weeks ago when LOT Airlines experienced a hack that was submitting bogus flight plans to pilots. It’s unclear whether this is related or not.
As always, in the immediate aftermath, details are still forthcoming. Here are a few examples of users on Twitter sharing what they know:

I will update this post / post again with any new information I’m able to find. Hopefully none of you are flying United to connect to a different airline’s flight this morning!!!
UPDATE: According to Airlive.net – the ground stop was lifted at about 10am EDT (14:00 UTC). United Airlines issued a statement saying ‘We experienced a network connectivity issue this morning. We are working to resolve this and apologize to our customers for any inconvenience’.
