KEY LINK: Ink Business Cash® Credit Card – Earn $350 when you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first three months and an additional $400 when you spend $6,000 on purchases in the first six months after account opening. $0 annual fee

The Chase Ink Business Cash Card is a great card to add to your collection. With incredibly high rewards to be earned, any small business owner would benefit from the perks. Here are 3 reasons why you should have this card in your pocket!

Ink Business Cash® Credit Card

Chase Ink Business Cash® Credit Card Review

Reason #1 – Sign Up Bonus Flexibility

The sign up bonus for the Chase Ink Business Cash Card is advertised as the ability to earn $350 when you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first three months and an additional $400 when you spend $6,000 on purchases in the first six months after account opening. This is a great savings for any business owner! But the real value is that really they just give you Chase Ultimate Rewards points. If you have a premium Chase card such as the Chase Sapphire Preferred®, Chase Ink Business Preferred® or Chase Sapphire Reserve®, you can combine your points and then your Ultimate Rewards bonus are worth even more when redeemed for travel!

With a tiered signup bonus, it may be more attainable than past bonuses which have featured higher spending requirements. Still, I would recommend meeting the requirements to earn the entire bonus, as Chase Ultimate Rewards points are quite valuable.

Reason #2 – Incredible Savings

After earning your bonus, now comes the REAL savings! The Chase Ink Business Cash Card has the following earning categories:

  • 5% cash back on the first $25,000 spent at office supply stores and communication services such as internet, cable, and phone. If you maximize this, it ends up being a $1,250 savings per year.
  • 2% cash back on the first $25,000 spent at gas stations and restaurants. If you maximize this, it send up being a $500 savings per year.
  • 1% unlimited cash back on all other charges.

As you can tell, there is immense savings to be had with the Chase Ink Business Cash Card. While you might not be able to get all the way up to the limit, having the ability to earn 5% cashback (that can be converted to Ultimate Rewards) on internet, cable and phone bills as well as take advantage of Visa / Mastercard deals at Staples or Office Depot is a nice perk.

Reason #3 – No Annual Fee

So many high earning/reward credit cards now have annual fees attached. However, you can make up for that cost if you maximize your card properly.

Other Chase Ink cards to consider

The Chase Ink Cash card is one in a family of Chase Ink cards – here are 2 of the other cards in that family if you’re interested

There’s also the old Chase Ink Plus card which also offers 5x on office supply stores (with a $50,000 annual limit) but it is no longer available for new signups.  All of these Chase cards are subject to Chase 5/24. So if you’re over 5/24, you likely will not be approved for any of these Chase credit cards. One other thing to note is that this is a business credit card, and typically business cards do not count towards increasing your 5/24 count.

The Bottom Line

KEY LINK: Ink Business Cash® Credit Card – Earn $350 when you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first three months and an additional $400 when you spend $6,000 on purchases in the first six months after account opening. $0 annual fee

If you have a qualifying business and are looking for a card with an excellent signup bonus and solid perks with no annual fee, the Chase Ink Business Chase is an excellent option to consider. If you have other Chase premium credit cards, it makes the value of the rewards you get from the Chase Ink even more valuable, since you can potentially combine them to get up to 50% additional value.
