I’ve had a few experiences with airport lounges.  While not a super frequent air traveler, and without elite status, I don’t have a ton of lounge access.  Still, I have been to a few airport lounges that I can wrangle free access to

The Club airport lounge coming to Cincinnati / CVG

The Club is a different type of lounge that is not affiliated with a specific airline, so access (in theory) is open to everyone.  In practice, I would say it’s not a good use of money to spend $35 for a day pass.

Now they are opening a new The Club lounge in Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG).  It’s located in Concourse A, between gates A8 and A10, and is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.

What to expect at The Club airport lounge

The Club airport lounge is like other domestic airport lounges – you’ll have TV, wi-fi, free snacks and drinks, and bar service.  I also love how they advertise that they have “telephones” – as that’s a pretty in-demand thing nowadays 😛

Here are a few pictures from Carolyn and my trip to The Club airport lounge in the Atlanta airport.

How to get into The Club airport lounges for free

The best way to get into The Club airport lounge is to have a Chase Ink card.  Most importantly, you can NOT just walk into the lounge and show them your Chase Ink card and expect to have access to the lounge.  You have to join “The Lounge Club” (which you can do for free with your Chase Ink card), get your Lounge Club card, and show THAT at The Club airport lounge to get access.

I’ve detailed the step by step instructions in the post: Free Lounge access with your Chase Ink card

You get 2 free visits per year with your Chase Ink card.
