Conclusion
The one-day rental certificates will save you some good amount of cash for your upcoming family trips. I am sure some people will find value in the President’s Club membership, but I personally don’t rent cars enough to make good use of it.

So a question – going to Los Angeles this year, and rentals for my 5 days are expensive. Right now we booked Silvercar at around $270 for the 5 days, and they’re actually cheaper than all rental car agencies. If I bought 5 of these, 1) Do they included all taxes and fees on the car 2) Do they include insurance, and if not, is there any way to get insurance through a credit card since you’re using the certificates, so I assume you’re not paying for anything unless you want to buy insurance through them? If I still have to pay for insurance, I might as well use Silvercar and not bother with this. Thanks.
From the T&C: “Taxes, concession recovery fees, vehicle license recovery fee, customer facility charges ($10/contract in CA) may apply and are the responsibility of the bearer.”
can you use the certificate for O/W rental?
