One thing that is different about this promotion is that it is tied specifically to Macy’s in that you will earn the bonus miles only by shopping at Macy’s.
American Airlines Macy’s Bonus Promotion
This American / Macy’s shopping portal bonus runs from now until December 5th (4 days only)
- Spend $250, get 1000 bonus miles
Macy’s is also offering 5 miles / $ as their base rate
So if you spend $250, you’ll actually get NINE miles per dollar spent
Terms & Conditions
- Offer valid from December 2, 2017 through December 5, 2017 at 11:59:59 pm ET (the “Bonus Period”).
- Member will earn a one-time bonus of one thousand (1000) AAdvantage® bonus miles (the “Bonus Miles”) on qualifying purchases, in addition to the AAdvantage® miles earned from shopping online through the AAdvantage eShoppingSM mall at Macys.com.
- Bonus Miles will be issued based on an eligible Member’s cumulative spend of two hundred fifty dollars ($250) or more on qualifying transactions when shopping online through the AAdvantage eShoppingSM mall at Macys.com during the Bonus Period.
- Returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card or other cash equivalent purchases, and certain products, are not included in the Bonus Miles eligibility calculation; please see the AAdvantage eShoppingSM mall site for details on product eligibility and/or any coupon code details or other usage restrictions.
- Please allow 6-8 weeks for Bonus Miles to post to your AAdvantage eShoppingSM account.
