The current Hilton 2K everyday promotion is ending this week on April 30. But a new Hilton Go More Get More promotion is launched for stays from May 1 through August 31, 2017. You can register here. With this new promotion, you can earn as much as 52 points per dollar spent on your stay. You can even stack it with 3 current Amex Offers and 4 other Hilton promotions.
Hilton Go More Get More promotion
With this latest promotion, you can earn 2x points for your stay from May 1 through August 31, 2017 at any hotel or resort within the Hilton Portfolio. If you are Hilton Diamond member, you earn 3x points! There is no minimum stay requirement, and no limit on number of bonus points you can earn. The bonus points are in additional to the base points you can earn as a member, which are listed below:
- 10 base points for every dollar spent (including room rate and eligible room charges);
- 5 bonus points if you choose “points & points” earning style in your Hilton profile (except for stays at Home2Suites where you earn 5 base points plus 2.5 bonus Points per eligible US dollar spent.)
- 10 points using the Citi Hilton Reserve card or 12 points using the Amex Hilton Surpass card.
As an example, assuming you are paying $150 per night for two nights. You will earn 3,000 Base Points, 1,500 Points & Points Bonus, plus 3,000 bonus (6,000 for Diamond member) under this promotion, for a total of 7,500 Points. If you pay for the stay using your Amex Hilton Surpass card, you will earn an additional 3,600 points. That is a total of 11,100 points just for two nights, or 37 points per dollar spend!
For elite members, you also earn an additional 2.5 points per dollar spend as gold elite or 5 points as diamond elite. If you are not a Hilton elite member, it is time to leverage your elite status with other hotel chains and become a Hilton elite.

Stack with 2 bonus promotion for Waldorf Astoria & Conrad
Currently there are two separation Hilton bonus promotions for the Waldorf Astoria & Conrad hotels, both tied to a specific rate plan. Usually it only makes sense booking these rate plans when there are no discounted rates available or if you are being reimbursed for the stay.
The promotions started in June 2016 and recently got extended through December 31, 2017. Both promotions might be targeted, but I was able to register for them. So it is worth trying if you have upcoming stays at Waldorf Astoria or Conrad. It is possible that these two promotion might even stack with the new Hilton Go More Get More promotion.
#1: Earn 5,000 bonus points on two-night stays. You must register for the promotion. When booking your two-night stay, you must request the “LRM 5K Points” package or plan code “PBK5P1”.
#2. Earn 2,000 bonus points per night for up to 4 nights. You must register for the promotion. When booking your stay, you must request the “LRM 2K Points” package or plan code “PBK2P1”. You can earn up to 8,000 points per stay.
Hilton has been offering their members fantastic returns on paid stay so far this year. With this promotion, a regular member paying with the Hilton Honors™ Surpass® Card from American Express would be earning 37 Hilton points per dollar spend, while a Gold member will earn 39.5 Hilton points and a Diamond member will earn 52 Hilton points per dollar spend. That is pretty fantastic!
Will you be switching your stays to Hilton properties because of this promotion?

Hilton’s reward program is a joke. Go look up the cash price for a deluxe room at the Hilton Molino Stucky hotel in Venice for May. Cash price for a deluxe king during the week of the 20th is 315 Euros, points price is 149,000 points a night. That’s not a typo, 149,000 points a night!
During some dates I even found a cash rate of 469 Euros and a points rate of 185,000 points a night.
Hilton runs its rewards program that same way Venezuela runs its economy with massive inflation and currency devaluations.
Don’t waste your time collecting Hilton points.
Like all other hotel rewards program, it all depends on how and where and when you use the points. There are value to be found with Hilton points, it takes work to find them. Using points don’t always make sense, whether it is Hilton, Marriott, Starwood or Hyatt, IHG.
Venice is one of the most expensive markets anywhere for hotels. I stayed at a Boscolo – Autograph Collection by Marriott — $489 per night. Anything on the island is insanely expensive. If you don’t want to pay the price you’ll end up in a dump or on the mainland. That’s not a Hilton exclusive. It’s a reality of that very over priced market.
As for their program being a joke — total disagree. They give far more earning opportunities than anyone else. They don’t play games like Marriott does with “starting with your second stay…” for bonus offers and so forth. With Marriott properties cost nearly as many points for reward stays, but with far less earning potential, if anything Marriott is the one falling down fast. When a Marriott and a Hilton both cost 30K per night, but Hilton offers significant earning opportunities, it’s a no brainer.
Further, Hilton points can be transferred to other programs. If anything, their program is top notch and far better than many others.
Glad to see someone agrees with me. Thank you!
Yeah my favorite redemption which was 40K points for the Hilton Los Cabos is now 70K points. The points are worth less than .5 c each. Yes you may still be able to find more value but sometimes its just not worth the effort, time to let this program rot.
