If you’re sporting a Delta American Express card from the recent all-time-high offers, you’re in luck this fall! AmEx and Delta have partnered to bring free pretzels to nine US cities in honor of Oktoberfest. From September 6th to November 2nd, American Express Delta cardholders can receive a free locally made pretzel by showing their card at the #DeltaAmexPerks Perktoberfest Tour food truck.
Feel free to bring a friend! Non-Card Members can also snag a pretzel for $3. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the American Red Cross.
Where to Find the Perktoberfest Truck
The truck will be stopping at the following cities:
- Salt Lake City
- Detroit
- New York City
- Boston
- Atlanta
- Seattle
- Raleigh/Durham
- Minneapolis
- Los Angeles

As you may have guessed, the Perktoberfest truck will be stopping at Delta’s hubs throughout the country. I’ll be interested to see if the truck parks at the airport or the city in Atlanta, where it’s a bit of a hike. I’m guessing they’ll find a good spot near some local food trucks right in the city, but who knows! I’ll be sure to stop by with my American Express Delta Reserve credit card when the truck comes to Boston.
Your first chance to get a free pretzel is at Salt Lake City this weekend. More details on schedule and timing to come. Remember, following along with the hashtag, #DeltaAmexPerks.
