A few months ago, I wrote a post about helping kids know how to go through security.  One of the things that I mentioned was that we watched as a family the official TSA video that talks about the screening process.

We used it before our family vacation to Reno (which we booked for free using 170,000 Southwest Rapid Rewards), and I would say that it was a big success.  We had no problems with security.

In fact, afterwards, one of my kids proclaimed “Stop. Screen. Go” as her favorite part of the entire vacation.  Go figure…

Now, as a (somewhat) libertarian, I did feel that the official video, while helpful, was a bit too “big government” for my liking.  So I was pleased to see that someone came up with a parody video called “Stop. Surrender your personal freedoms and rights to privacy. Go!”

Unfortunately for me, I first saw this video posted when I was actually AT the airport (waiting an hour for my hotel shuttle to finally show up).  I had to keep the volume way down and kept looking over my shoulder for someone to come bust me.  I was glad when I was able to watch it again.

A few of my favorite quotes:

“Of COURSE they can see our private parts!”

“So THAT’S how they’ve stopped all the terrorists since 9/11? Haha, they haven’t stopped ANYONE!”

“Your video game could be the detonation device for a chemical bomb hidden inside Molly’s bear!”

Looking for airport security humor? This funny TSA parody video will have you cracking up in no time!
