In 2026, while on an epic birthday trip, my wife and I stayed two nights at the Holiday Inn Express Manila Newport World Resorts. This Holiday Inn Express Manila Newport World Resorts review will give an idea of the different amenities and features of the hotel and hopefully help you decide if you want to stay here if you’re looking for a Manila airport hotel.

Holiday Inn Express Manila Newport World Resorts location

The Holiday Inn Express Manila Newport World Resorts is located at 1 Jasmine Drive Pasay, 1309 Philippines. It is walkable from Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport. It’s about a 10 to 15 minute walk – you’ll first go up to the 4th floor in the airport, then follow the signs for the Runway Manila footbridge.

You’ll go on a pedestrian bridge – follow signs for the Newport World Resorts and Hotels

Unlike some of the other nearby hotels like the Belmont or Savoy, it’s not right at the end of this pedestrian bridge. Instead, you’ll go around the Belmont hotel and down Newport drive about a half a mile.

Like many Asian hotels, there is an exterior security check that you have to go with your luggage when you enter the hotel.

You’ll then be admitted to the hotel lobby. Checkin was quick and efficient.

There is also a relatively large seating area on the 1st floor near the check-in desks.

We were looking for a cheap Manila airport hotel, but didn’t want to stay in the absolute cheapest hotel out there. Hotel prices are crazy cheap (by US standards) in Manila. I booked 2 nights through Chase Travel for $173 all-in, and hope to get a $50 rebate for using my Chase Sapphire Preferred card. The Holiday Inn Express Manila Airport Newport World Resorts was listed as being “eligible for IHG Rewards”. I originally thought that my booking did not earn points, but I did see that it earned me about ~2500 IHG points.

Holiday Inn Express Manila Newport World Resorts hotel review – room

We booked a 1 king room. The beds and pillows were comfortable enough.

The electrical outlets were US-compatible, and there were also 2 USB-A charging stations at each nightstand.

The bathroom was small but functional. The shower had good temperature and pressure.

One thing to be aware of if you’re traveling with a family is that the shower is frosted but pretty translucent. You can definitely see what is going on from the main part of the room / the bed if someone else is in the shower. This was only mildly annoying for my wife and I but would be a nonstarter if I were traveling with kids or friends.

Wifi is complimentary in the lobby and in the guest rooms. The Holiday Inn Express Manila Newport World Resorts wifi speed was pretty slow when I measured it, but I didn’t really have any issues using it.

Laundry facilities are available for a cost

There is an outdoor smoking area / garden, right off the breakfast area on the main floor.

There is a meeting room as well as an attached casino, also on the first floor.

The Holiday Inn Express Manila Newport World Resorts does have complimentary parking, which was plentiful. We did not have a car during our stay here, but if you do, you should be able to park it here with no problem.

Breakfast was complimentary with my rate at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Enterprise – it’s served in a breakfast area right off the lobby. There are staff members at the entrance to the breakfast area checking your room number to make sure your rate is eligible for breakfast.

Like many non-American hotels, the breakfast is much more substantial than it is at other Holiday Inn Express hotels in the U.S.

There were no classic Holiday Inn Express cinnamon rolls, though there was a sundae bar near the breakfast area, with sundaes available for a cost.

If you are looking for a cheap Manila airport hotel, I thought that the Holiday Inn Express Manila Newport World Resorts had several things going for it. It was very easy to get to from the highway, and the price was decent. I think the Holiday Inn Express Manila Newport World Resorts could be a great option if you’re looking for a Manila airport hotel.
