In 2026, while on a trip to the Maritime Provinces of Canada, my wife and I stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport. This Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport hotel review will give an idea of the different amenities and features of the hotel and hopefully help you decide if you want to stay here if you’re looking for a Halifax airport hotel.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport location

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport is located at 180 Pratt and Whitney Drive Enfield, NS B2T 0C8 Canada. It’s located right off of Canada Route 102, very convenient to Halifax Stansted Airport. It’s about a 30 minute drive from Downtown Halifax.

There was a small seating area in the lobby, and also an airport arrivals / departures board, befitting its location as an airport hotel.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport cost

We were looking for a cheap Halifax airport hotel, but didn’t want to stay in the absolute cheapest hotel out there. I was there for 1 night, and I used a free night certificate.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport hotel review – room

We booked a 1 king room, and we were “upgraded” to a top floor room that I’m sure the hotel sells as a “suite”, although there is not a door separating the bedroom from the living room area.

When you walk into the room, there is a small living room area, with a pull-out couch.

On the other side of the living room is a TV

Going through a small hallway, you have a small fridge and microwave

On the right of the hallway is the bathroom, which was small but functional. The shower had good temperature and pressure.

Walking through a small doorway (but with no door) you reach the bedroom.

. The beds and pillows were comfortable enough.

Wifi is complimentary in the lobby and in the guest rooms. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport wifi speed was decent and I had no issues using it.

There is a small fitness center

They have an airport shuttle, which runs at 25 and 55 after the hour.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport hotel review – parking

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport does have complimentary parking, which was plentiful.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport food

Breakfast is complimentary at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport – it’s served in a breakfast area right off the lobby.

Because of our early departure, I didn’t get a chance to get pictures of the actual hot breakfast, but I am including some photos of breakfasts at previous Holiday Inn Express hotels that I have stayed at – I assume they are similar.

Instead, the Holiday Inn Express Halifax Airport offers a “Grab and Go” airport from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., with just some fruit and muffins. We picked that up since we had to leave early due to Air Canada cancelling our flight and rescheduling it for an EARLIER time (while we slept)

There is a market near the front desk with overpriced food and other sundries

Here is the price list (keep in mind that these prices are in CAD)

The Bottom Line – Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport review

If you are looking for a cheap Halifax airport hotel, I thought that the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport had several things going for it. It was very easy to get to from the highway, and the price was decent. I think the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport could be a great option if you’re looking for a hotel near Halifax Stansted International Airport
