Recently Barcelona has seen incredible fares from as low as $230 round trip, and $130 for one-way travel. Those are phenomenal deals, but summer high season has remained at typical pricing – around $700 from major airports and $1000+ from regional cities. Now, just in time for Valentine’s Day, three major cities are showing prices below $500 for flights on limited days in June.
- New York from $400 on TAP
- Los Angeles from $447 on American/Iberia
- Seattle from $499 on American/Iberia
These are round trip prices in basic economy; main cabin pricing is very inconsistent (LA prices at $1,600), which hints that these prices are not the normal schedule. Search both on OTAs as well as the airlines’ websites for these prices and more information. The New York routes generally include a long layover in Lisbon or Porto, allowing an opportunity for day trips to one of Portugal’s beautiful cities as well. Now’s the time to book a romantic summer vacation in Spain at a great price!
