There’s a new online game from Starwood called SPG Get in the Game.  Similar to some of the past SPG online games like Open the WorldTap into Luxury, and SPG Design Hotels (I won 20,000 SPG points in that one), you play a brief online game and can win a variety of instant prizes.  You can play once per day (per account) from now through March 18th, and each entry also gives you one entry to the Grand Prize (2 tickets to Game 1 of the 2016 World Series)

SPG Get in the Game directions

First of all, you can visit the official game site here – http://www.spgpromos.com/getinthegame/

After you sign into your account, you pick your 2 teams (one thing these games are really good at are making you do random things that have no real rhyme or reason!

Then you’re taken to the main screen and you pick 3 “pitches” (again, for no real reason).  You also are given some interesting MLB facts, such as the type of wood in bats as well as the longest MLB game (25 innings).  After you pick 3 pitches (it doesn’t seem to matter which type of pitch you pick), you’re given a graphic with a pitch

Every time I’ve played, the batter swings and misses at the first 2 pitches and then the 3rd time he hits it.  For me, I’ve lost every time, though apparently Michael W Travels has won already

You can see the official terms and conditions here.  That also gives the total prizes, which are

Winning Play Quantity Instant Win Prize ARV*
Single Hit 425 1000 Starpoints $25.00
Double Hit (Non US) 255 5000 Starpoints $125.00
Double Hit 510 Amazon Gift Card $50.00
Triple Hit 85 10,000 Starpoints $250.00
Triple Hit (US Only)** 51 MLB.TV Premium Subscription $109.99
Home Run 34 20,000 Starpoints $500.00

I’m not sure how the US Only part of it works, since I’d probably rather have 5000 Starpoints than the Amazon gift card, and I certainly would rather have 10,000 Starpoints than an MLB.TV subscription!

Good luck out there and let me know if you win anything!
