Southwest has extended their flight schedule through April 13th, 2020! With plenty of Rapid Rewards at my disposal and decent fares out of Boston and Providence, I always take a look at Southwest prices when I’m itching to get away.
Southwest extends their schedule roughly every month, rather than in large bunches. You can always check their site here to see when the next schedule update will take affect.

Especially when I had my Companion Pass (and now still), I book Southwest flights ASAP. Since it’s super easy to save money or points if the price drops, there’s no reason to wait. Southwest runs one of the self-described friendliest fleets in the skies, waiving all cancellation and change fees too!
