KEY LINK: Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card – Earn $900 bonus cash back after you spend $6,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. $0 annual fee
The Chase Ink Business Unlimited Card is a great card to add to your collection. With incredibly high rewards to be earned, any small business owner would benefit from the perks. And remember, you may have a business even if you don’t actually think you have one. Here are 5 reasons why you should have this card in your pocket:
An Outstanding Welcome Offer
The sign up bonus for the Chase Ink Business Unlimited Card is advertised as the ability to earn $900 when you spend $6,000 on purchases in the first three months after account opening. This welcome offer is just about the highest welcome offer I have ever seen for a card with no annual fee. Yes, the spending requirement is higher than average, but if you have the ability to meet it, it’s a big bonus. Another way to look at the spending requirement is to divide the total over several months, which may make it more palatable.
But it’s actually Chase Ultimate Rewards points
This is a great savings for any business owner. But the real value is that it’s quite easy to convert the cashback that you earn to Chase Ultimate Rewards points. If you have a premium Chase card such as the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (read our full review), Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card (read our full review) or Chase Sapphire Reserve®, you can combine your points and then your Ultimate Rewards points could be worth even more when redeemed for travel or transferred to Chase Ultimate Rewards transfer partners.
Outstanding Return On Everyday Spend
After earning your bonus, now comes the REAL savings! You’ll earn 1.5% cash back on every dollar you spend on business purchases with the Ink Unlimited card. This is a decent return on investment, especially when you consider that you can easily convert that cashback to Ultimate Rewards points that can be even more valuable.
Primary Rental Car Coverage and Travel Protections
The Chase Ink Unlimited card also offers primary car rental coverage in most countries around the world, as long as you are renting the car for business purposes. Renting a car using a credit card that has primary car rental coverage can be a big time and money saver if you happen to get into an accident or cause damage while renting.

The Chase Ink Unlimited card also offers travel and emergency assistance services.
No Annual Fee
So many high earning or travel rewards credit cards now have annual fees attached. You can make up for that cost if you maximize your card properly, and there are a few credit cards I will pay the annual fee on. But the good news with the Chase Ink Unlimited card is that it doesn’t have an annual fee, so there’s no need to justify any fees at all for signing up for or keeping the card.
Other Chase Ink cards
The Chase Ink Unlimited card is one in a family of Chase Ink cards – here are 2 of the other cards in that family if you’re interested
- Chase Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card – Earn 90,000 bonus points after you spend $8,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. $95 annual fee – read our full review here.
- Chase Ink Business Cash® Credit Card – Earn $350 when you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first three months and an additional $400 when you spend $6,000 on purchases in the first six months after account opening. $0 annual fee
There’s also the old Chase Ink Plus card which also offers 5x on office supply stores (with a $50,000 annual limit) but it is no longer available for new signups. All of these Chase cards are subject to Chase 5/24. So if you’re over 5/24, you likely will not be approved for any of these Chase credit cards. One other thing to note is that this is a business credit card, and typically business cards do not count towards increasing your 5/24 count.
