I’ve written several times about IHG’s ongoing promotion called “Into the Nights”

That last post (about stays not showing up) is one of my more popular posts, and is still getting comments from people whose stays are not showing up.

Our promotions

Carolyn and I both signed up for this promotion and got different offers

Carolyn’s offer is a pretty standard offer for “new” accounts, and if you got one that has a very high stay requirement, one option for you might be to create a new account for this promotion, since it seems that most new accounts get an offer similar to this

Offers changing midway through the promo?!?

I was reading on One Mile at a Time this morning that his (as well as several commenters’) offers seem to have changed midway through the promotion.

As you can see, originally I only had to make one booking through the IHG App in order to “unlock” that bonus, while now I have to book five stays via the IHG App to “unlock” that bonus.

It probably goes without saying (But I’ll say it anyways!!) that this would be totally unethical on IHG’s part and a HUGE mistake.  I can only hope, given the state of the IT department that appears to be running things over there, that it is a temporary glitch that will be fixed shortly.

We’ve decided that this promotion is not worth it for our situation, but it’s definitely a lucrative offer for some!

I checked my offer this morning and it still was showing to only book 1 through the mobile app and all of the other requirements have remained the same.   What about you – did your offer change?
