Alaska Airlines is back with more first class deals between California and Dallas. First it was San Francisco and San Jose, and then it was San Diego. Now Los Angeles has been added, with the same parameters as the earlier sale: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday travel, in September and October. The sale fare of $337 is good in either direction, so inhabitants of both cities have a chance to take advantage of the deal. Note that the Dallas flights are to Love Field, meaning they may not be good for positioning to international flights.

As for the earlier deals, the Austin fares are no longer available; but not only is Dallas still on sale, the discount has been extended for both the Bay area and San Diego into next spring. Availability has also been extended to other weekdays for 2019 travel.

If you’d rather save the cash and/or you earn a lot of Chase Ultimate Rewards, the deal is just 22,440 UR in the Chase travel portal with the Sapphire Reserve. That’s a pretty great redemption while earning 4,300 Alaska miles.
First class means two free checked bags and, of course, seat selection. According to FT, these flights are operated on Embraer 175s, which is a pretty comfortable domestic first class seat. Especially if you get the “A” side – a single seat that is both “aisle” and “window”.
These deals are bookable directly with Alaska or with online travel agencies. When searching on Google Flights look for “business” class, and on OTAs search for “first” class. This deal is a nice discount from regular pricing (~$550) so take advantage now if these flights work for you.
