One of the reasons that I started getting into the miles and points game was to teach my family the whys of travel

So one thing that we’ve been working on is coming up with travel “bucket lists” of places they want to see

This week I shared my 11 year old’s bucket list that he came up with of the 10 places he wants to see (#9 cracks me up)



I know it seems like we’ve been talking about hotel status matches forever but…

I took advantage of the match to Hilton Diamond status, and after wondering for awhile if we were going to hear anything

My IHG Platinum status finally matched me to something good – Hilton Diamond



Speaking of status matches, there was a lot of what I’ll classify as “whining” from current Hyatt and Hilton elite members.

Basically upset with the fact that the top tier “Diamond” statuses were being diluted

My response: Hey elites: hotels and airlines don’t care about you!
